** Kinnevik KINVb.ST falls about 16% to the bottom of STOXX 600 .STOXX index after a short‑seller report
** Ningi Research, which holds a short position in the company, says that according to its investigation, Kinnevik sold 'distressed' fintech assets - Sure, Lunar, and XYB - to an employee‑owned fund and financed the transaction
** Kinnevik disclosed in its Q1 2025 report published in April last year it had released capital from the three companies in a portfolio transaction made at a single-digit discount to the previous quarter's fair value of this portfolio of investments
** Ningi Research's report also claims Kinnevik invested billions of crowns in related-party start-ups whose prospects have since deteriorated
** Kinnevik did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment
** If losses hold, Kinnevik shares are on track for their worst day since September 2001
